I just received my moleskine cover yesterday, and I thought I would send you a quick note about how happy I am with it. (I left my notebook at work, so I wasn't able to try it out until this morning.) The leather feels fantastic and it fits my large notebook perfectly. I'm positive that this will give me years of good service. Hell, I'm pretty sure I'll be handing it down to my daughter.

I have just received your cover for the Moleskine notebook over the weekend, and wanted to let you know that the design and workmanship were beyond my expectations (even though my expectations were extremely high, being familiar with the quality of your other products)! It is gratifying to know that attention to detail and materials is still alive in the U.S. and products like yours consistently demonstrate this.
To others that may be considering the purchase of a Moleskine leather cover: Do not look any further than Gfeller. I spent a good deal of time researching other “hand-crafted” covers for my notebook, and they all look like an elementary school craft project in comparison to the natural kip leather cover I have just received. The quality and finish of the leather, the extremely fine stitching, and the feature which permits ease of use for the Moleskine elastic, are all truly remarkable.

I just got my book cover. What a statement of craftmanship! I'm an older bloke who has seen pride in workmanship come and go and be replaced by what is more profitable. I grew up with an extraordinary metal worker, built most of the furniture in my home, worked on old master stringed instruments, and have spent most of my life around people who use tools and make things. You guys go on the list.
I love to see work by people who have the knowledge, take the time, and answer to themselves for quality control. You obviously measure up on all acounts.
Congratulations on a fine piece of work. We'll do more business in the future.

We luckily discovered Steve and Gfeller Casemakers during our long search to find a talented leather worker here in the US to help develop and manufacture our patented horse training harness. After presenting our prototype, Steve immediately gave us his full attention and support. Our harness was not an easy project, but he quickly worked through any difficult design issues, and added his special touch of artistry and fine craftsmanship to the final project. Within a remarkably short time, Steve produced for us an exceptional, durable and beautiful piece of training equipment.
Our "Astride" is now being used by the very top trainers and stables in the Thoroughbred racing industry, including three time Derby winner, Bob Baffert and the stables of the King Abdullah of Saudi
Arabia.

I received my pocket Moleskin Cover, English Kip Leather, Serial #372 this morning. Impressed and satisfied does not begin to express how I feel with this purchase.
I can’t express my thoughts at this time on what a lovely, well designed and manufactured piece of leather this case is.
I have never seen such quality craftsmanship in any leather item I have purchased. I am usually mildly disappointed in quality of small leather goods I purchase online. Not this time. Your moleskin covers are the penultimate in their class, bar none. This cover, I know will only continue to make me happy and keep me satisfied through many years of use.
I have recently switched to the soft covered lined pocket moleskin diary because I prefer to keep it in my hip pocket when not wearing a sports coat. I believe your cover, coupled with the soft cover diary will end my days of using gaffer tape to reinforce and mend areas which keep the journal from staying together. Further, having used a somewhat similar, but thicker cover, sold by a company in NM. I am nonplussed by the quality of your turned edges, no bulk stitching and your attention to detail, such as hammering and waxing down the threads after sewing.
You and your staff are that which I wish I were, a true craftsman of a handmade art.

Dear Steve
I received the leather cover for my wife’s moleskine yesterday. It is beautifully made, and the embossed initials are in just the right place. It fits the slightly thicker academic diary/notebook well and is, I think, a perfect anniversary present for my wife this weekend.
